Our Cubs (0-2 years) and Koala (2-3 years) rooms focus on providing an environment that encourages exploration, sequential development, building of competency, confidence in movement, sensory response, language acquisition & a basic introduction to literacy and numeracy.
One of the greatest benefits of the adaptive Montessori Method, particularly during the early learning experience, is the focus on hands-on learning. The children work on activities that teach language, arts and crafts, sensorial, math, culture and practical life lessons. The Educators encourage the children to concentrate on tasks, and work independently and focus on activities until they are properly mastered.
Our Joeys (3-4 years) and Kangaroo's (4-5 years) classrooms focus on further developing & refining these skills. The children are encouraged to develop their language, intellectual, social skills & self-help skills. The children are also encouraged to choose activities of their own interest with an opportunity to engage in large, small group & individual experiences.
Our adaptive Montessori curriculum focuses on key developmental milestones, activities are self-directed, with a hands on learning and collaborative play.
We offer an intensive school readiness program to ensure your child is supported for a smooth transition into Kindergarten. With a strong focus on our Montessori work cycle, we utilise these materials to enhance Language, Numeracy, Sensorial, Geography and Practical life skills.
