Our Cubs (0–2 years) and Koalas (2–3 years) rooms provide nurturing, thoughtfully prepared environments where children feel secure, explore freely and develop at their own pace. Guided by Montessori principles, our approach supports each child’s growing independence, movement, coordination, communication and sensory discovery.
Hands-on learning is at the heart of our program. Through purposeful activities and everyday experiences, children explore practical life skills, language, music, creative expression and the natural world. Opportunities for sorting, matching, counting and sharing stories lay the foundations for early literacy and numeracy.
Our educators observe each child’s interests and developmental needs, offering gentle guidance and appropriate challenges. Children have time to choose, repeat and explore activities, building concentration, confidence and a sense of achievement. Warm relationships and predictable routines support emotional wellbeing, social connections and a strong sense of belonging.
Our Joeys (3–4 years) and Kangaroos (4–5 years) classrooms provide thoughtfully prepared environments that support children’s growing independence, curiosity and confidence. Through hands-on exploration and purposeful activities, children strengthen their communication, coordination, problem-solving and social skills.
Our Montessori approach recognises that each child develops at their own pace. Educators observe children’s interests and readiness, introducing materials across Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics and Cultural Studies, including science and geography. Creative arts, music, movement and opportunities to learn individually and with others enrich the program.
The Montessori Work Cycle gives children time to choose activities, practise new skills and deepen their concentration. With guidance from educators, they learn to care for themselves and their environment, cooperate with others and take increasing responsibility for their learning.
In our Kangaroos classroom (4–5 years), children participate in a comprehensive School Readiness and Kindergarten Preparation Program throughout their final preschool year. Building on our Montessori approach, the program combines hands-on learning, purposeful workbook experiences and everyday routines to support a confident transition to primary school.
Children strengthen early literacy and numeracy while developing pencil control, cutting skills, letter and number formation, concentration, problem-solving and the ability to follow instructions. Learning experiences are guided by each child’s interests and readiness, allowing them to progress at their own pace.
Alongside these skills, we support emotional regulation, resilience, independence and friendships. Children practice managing their personal needs, caring for their belongings, cooperating with others and seeking help when needed building the confidence to embrace new experiences and a strong foundation for school and lifelong learning.
